By registering for, attending, or participating in ICONIS 2026 (X International Congress on Innovation and Sustainability), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not register or participate in the conference.
2.1 Registration Requirements: All attendees must complete the official registration process and pay applicable fees before attending the conference.
2.2 Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to maintain its accuracy.
2.3 In-Person Attendance: ICONIS 2026 is an in-person only conference. All registered participants must attend physically in Barcelona, Spain. No virtual participation option is available.
3.1 Registration Fees: All fees are listed on our website and must be paid in full at the time of registration unless otherwise specified.
3.2 Refund Policy: Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refund policies are as follows:
3.3 No-Show Policy: No refunds will be issued for no-shows or failure to attend without prior cancellation.
4.1 Originality: All submitted papers must be original work and not previously published or under consideration elsewhere.
4.2 Copyright: Authors retain copyright of their work but grant ICONIS the right to publish and distribute papers in conference proceedings.
4.3 Presentation Requirement: At least one author of each accepted paper must register for and attend the conference to present the work in person.
4.4 Withdrawal: Papers may be withdrawn before the early-bird deadline. Late withdrawals may result in exclusion from future conferences.

By attending ICONIS 2026, you consent to being photographed, videotaped, or otherwise recorded during the conference. These materials may be used for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be recorded, please notify the organizers.
7.1 Conference Materials: All conference materials, including but not limited to presentations, proceedings, and program content, are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced without permission.
7.2 Author Rights: Authors retain rights to their submitted work but grant ICONIS a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute proceedings.
8.1 Limitation of Liability: ICONIS organizers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from conference attendance or participation.
8.2 Personal Property: Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings. The conference is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.
8.3 Health and Safety: Attendees participate at their own risk and are responsible for their own health and safety during the conference.
ICONIS organizers are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or venue unavailability. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or provide alternatives.
The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the conference program, schedule, venue, or speakers without prior notice. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes to registered participants.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barcelona, Spain.
